Suzka’s first concert was at the age of five at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver for Dr. Shinich Suzuki (founder of Suzuki method.) Her formative years were spent performing with her sister on piano from the age of 5 and then studying with various classical music mentors. She later got involved with gypsy jazz and world music studying with Romanian violin virtuoso, Lache Cercel. She has graced most stages in Vancouver including the Commodore Ballroom while opening for world renowned guitar virtuosos Strunz and Farah.
Suzka’s album appearances have included genres from world, hip-hop, electronica, funky house, aboriginal folk, alternative, jazz, R&B soul, country, to pop.
