Singer-Songwriter, Guitarist, Backing Vocalist Kristie McCracken is one of Vancouver’s most promising vocal talents. She is a WCMA 2016 ‘Urban Artist of the Year’ nominee for her debut solo album titled ‘Let Go & Grow’. The album showcases her vocal talent and the vintage soul sounds of “Retrograde” and “Where Are You”. The album is produced by Patrick Watson Quine of Watson Unlimited Music, and features a song co-written and produced by 3-time Grammy award winner Chin Injeti.
She was a part of the Sarah McLachlan Music Outreach Program as a teenager and volunteered for two years at Saint James Music Academy while studying music at University of British Columbia. She will graduate in June 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy at Capilano University after completing her internship in the Burn, Trauma, High Acuity Unit at Vancouver General Hospital as well as Edmonds Community School in Burnaby, BC.
