Joshua Piche is a Manitoba born singer, guitarist and songwriter who started music at a young age. He grew up in a household where family jam nights fed his passion for music. After picking up the guitar at age 7, Joshua soon became familiar with country, folk, and blues. His inspirations include B.B. King, Paul Butterfield, Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
In his youth he studied with many Winnipeg greats including Murray Pulver (The Crash Test Dummies, Doc Walker) Bill Wallace(The Guess Who) and David Letkeman (The Winnipeg Classical Guitar Society). He is an alumnus of The Brandon University School Of Music where he studied under Greg Gatien & Michael Cain and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Studies Performance.
