Encore is a Vancouver-based music duo. It features Ms. D’arcy Han as the vocalist / keyboard player, along with her guitarist/vocalist partner, Michael Aiyoshi.
Encore formed in 2012 and has clients that vary from corporate such as BC Hydro and the Business Council of British Columbia to private weddings (at venues such as Cecil Green at UBC and the Brock House). As a cover music act, Encore has a great variety in its repertoire, from Jazz and Blues, to Classic Hits, R&B and current chart-toppers. Encore also performs some of their own original music. Another unique feature of the group is that Encore accommodates requests of pop music in languages of Mandarin, Cantonese and even Japanese. With the increasing demand of attracting and accommodating businesses from the Asia-Pacific in the city, Encore is the perfect musical act to fill this entertainment and cultural gap.
Encore is also a very popular duo cruising on Disney Cruise Line ships.
