Annika discovered her love for music at the age of 4 when she began taking classical piano and violin lessons with the Royal Conservatory of Music Program. In addition to classical piano and violin training, she has extensive experience in musical theatre and has performed as an actress in over 20 major musical theatre productions. These experiences have enabled her to quickly develop a rapport with audiences.
She has won numerous vocal competitions such as the Calgary International Blues Festival Competition, placed 11th on Season 5 of Canadian Idol, won the Calgary Stampede Talent Search in 2012, and most recently was a feature performer at the Calgary Stampede’s Grandstand Show!
