At 25 years of age, Paul Walker stands as one of the more experienced guitarists of his generation. After learning guitar from two Colorado greats – Jock Bartley (of Firefall) and Steve Crenshaw, Paul took up working Denver clubs with some of the best acts in town, such as, Angie Stevens and The Beautiful Wreck and Tempa and The Tantrums. While performing at venues such as Red Rocks, The Gothic Theater, The Ogden Theater and The Grizzly Rose, he opened for Melissa Etheridge, Reckless Kelly, The Railbenders, and Roger Cline and the Peacemakers and shared the stage with Hazel Miller, and members of Big Head Todd and The Monsters. He has even performed in 97.3 KBCO’s Studio C. In 2010 Paul packed up and made his way to Austin, Texas.
While in Austin, Paul played his way through Sixth Street blues clubs, the legendary Antone’s Nightclub and The Saxon Pub. Performing with and opening for the likes of Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton (Double Trouble), Malford Milligan, Derek O’Brien, Ephraim Owens, and many others.
After learning to do things “the texas way”, Paul has returned to Denver with a bag full of new tricks. Paul’s shows pack cool, soulful vocals, smoldering hot guitar, and a deep pocket rhythm section that is sure to keep the crowd dancing all night. His style will bring out the sounds of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddie King, Albert Collins, and even John Mayer. Paul Walker is a truly original, blues based artist, and his show is one that you won’t want to miss.
