“Thomas Rhett and John Mayer go to an Eagles show” is how Aaron Pollock would respond if you asked him how to describe his contemporary country sound. Combining soulful guitar licks and a classic baritone voice with modern pop songwriting flavours, Pollock is actively writing and recording songs for his debut release, expected in 2018.

A musician his entire life, Pollock left a career in Alberta politics in 2015 in order to dedicate himself to his craft. Later that year he went on to place as a top-10 finalist in Indie Week Canada.

A rising star in the Canadian songwriting community, Pollock has had multiple songs picked up by various publishing companies and was recognized as “One to Watch” by the Nashville Songwriter’s Association in Spring 2017. This year, Aaron will be receiving his first cuts with artists including Mark Times, Lauren Mayell, Devin Cooper, and Mariya Stokes.
