Tim Rykert began his comedy career in 1990, performing on amateur nights at local comedy clubs, in his home town of Toronto. Tim quickly became a regular on the Canadian Stand-up comedy circuit and within 3 short years, he was headlining comedy clubs from coast to coast . During that time, Tim also spent a year with The Second City National Touring Company and began to make his first television appearances

Tim has since made numerous television appearances including two of his own one hour comedy specials on CBC, CTV and The Comedy Network. Tim has also made several appearances at Montreal's International Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, The Vancouver International Comedy Festival, and the Fringe of Toronto festival.
