Colette studied at the Ecole de Musique Vincent d'Indy in Montreal and took occasional harp lessons with Marie Lorcini.

She has performed on cruise ships such as the Galaxy for Celebrity Cruise Lines and the Crown Dynasty for Cunard Cruise Lines. Colette is a member of the Harp Society in Vancouver and in Tucson, Arizona. She has performed for small groups, weddings and conventions in the United States and Canada since 1985.
