Karin Plato grew up on the prairies in a small farming community in Saskatchewan and studied the piano throughout her childhood. She later attendedj the University of Saskatchewan where she received her Bachelor Of Music Degree in piano and voice.

Karin has performed festivals and concerts across Canada including Vancouver, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa and Montreal.
